Introduction
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Australia's largest celebration of cultural diversity.

The 2027 National Multicultural Festival will be held from Friday 5 February to Sunday 7 February 2027.

We offer a range of volunteer roles to suit different interests, skills and experience levels. To be eligible to volunteer, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a visa that allows you to work or volunteer in Australia.

Volunteer placements are subject to availability and operational requirements. While every effort will be made to match applicants with their preferred roles, submitting an application does not guarantee placement.

As part of this application, you will be asked to provide:

  • Volunteer role preferences
  • Availability during the festival period (5–7 February 2027)
  • Relevant experience, skills and interests

Please provide your best indication of availability at this stage. We understand that circumstances may change, and the National Multicultural Festival team will contact successful applicants later in the year to confirm roles, training and shift allocations.

Once you submit your application, you will not be able to access or edit it. Please ensure all information is complete and accurate before submitting.
